RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE SECONDE PATTE DOG PARK
Access to the park implies full and complete acceptance of these regulations.
In order to ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs and to maintain harmony among all users, every person present in the park agrees to respect the following rules.
1. Access conditions
To ensure the well-being and safety of every animal, access to the park is reserved for dogs that are:
- identified (microchip or tattoo);
- in a state of health compatible with activities within the park;
- showing no symptoms that could be contagious (cough, diarrhea, vomiting, unusual discharge, etc.).
For group sessions, dogs must be up to date on the following vaccinations:
- Canine Distemper;
- Canine Hepatitis;
- Parvovirus;
- Parainfluenza;
- Leptospirosis;
- Kennel Cough.
Dogs must also be treated against external parasites (fleas and ticks).
The following are not admitted to the park:
- sick dogs;
- injured dogs;
- dogs with a parasitic infestation;
- dogs in heat.
Dogs may be spayed/neutered or intact.
Access to the park also implies:
- acceptance and compliance with these regulations;
- that the dog is compatible with the chosen service;
- that the owner remains responsible for their animal throughout their time on the premises.
2. Animal welfare
The park is a space dedicated to leisure, relaxation, and respect for the well-being of dogs.
Any practice that goes against this principle is prohibited.
Any form of physical or verbal violence towards a dog, another user, or a staff member will result in immediate and permanent exclusion from the park, without a refund.
The use of training methods based on fear, suffering, or intimidation of the animal is strictly prohibited.
Dogs participating in group sessions must be able to:
- communicate correctly with their peers;
- understand and respect the stop or refusal signals expressed by another dog;
- share resources such as water, toys, or treats when they are permitted;
- interact calmly within a group.
A dog whose behavior is not compatible with a group environment may be redirected to a more suitable private service.
3. Dangerous dogs
Categorized dogs are accepted without discrimination based on their category or breed mix.
However, they must comply with all regulatory obligations applicable to their ownership.
Access conditions may be adapted according to the dog's profile and the chosen service to ensure the safety and well-being of all.
4. Insurance and liability
Every owner must have civil liability insurance covering their dog and any damage it may cause.
The owner remains responsible for their dog for the entire duration of its presence in the park.
They must:
- actively supervise their animal;
- intervene in the event of inappropriate behavior;
- follow the instructions given by the team.
Dogs remain animals that can have unpredictable reactions.
The owner is responsible for any damage caused by their dog to:
- a person;
- another animal;
- the park's facilities or equipment.
Seconde Patte implements all necessary measures to ensure a secure environment, but cannot be held responsible for the individual behavior of the animals.
5. Group sessions
Group sessions allow several dogs to socialize together in a secure space.
They are limited to a maximum of 5 dogs per session.
Owners must remain present for the entire duration of the service and supervise their dog.
A behavioral trainer is present to supervise interactions and assist users if necessary.
Dogs must be able to interact calmly with their peers.
If a dog exhibits behavior incompatible with the smooth running of the group session or compromises the safety, well-being of other participants, or the proper operation of the park, the Seconde Patte team may terminate their participation.
In such cases, the service fee will remain due in full and no refund may be requested.
A referral to a private park booking may be offered when this is better suited to the dog's needs.
6. Private slots
Privatization allows you to enjoy the park in an exclusive environment, particularly for dogs in need of a quiet space, for sensitive dogs, or for specific occasions.
The rate is:
€35 incl. tax per slot, including 1 dog.
Additional dogs are charged at:
+€10 incl. tax per additional dog.
Privatization is limited to a maximum of 3 dogs in the park.
For more than 3 dogs, specific arrangements will need to be discussed with the Seconde Patte team and will be subject to a personalized quote.
Private slots do not require the dog to be sociable with other dogs or humans.
No specific vaccinations are required for private slots.
However, the owner remains responsible for ensuring that their dog is in a state of health compatible with using the park.
Seconde Patte cannot be held responsible for any illness contracted by a dog during its time in the park.
7. Inputs and outputs
To ensure everyone's safety:
- dogs must remain leashed until authorized by a team member;
- gates must be closed immediately after each entry or exit;
- each user must check that no dog can take advantage of an opening to get out.
When a new user enters the park, those already present must ensure that their dogs do not rush towards the newcomer.
This rule helps to facilitate calmer introductions between dogs.
8. Toys and treats
Toys and treats are permitted provided they do not create conflict between dogs.
During group sessions, owners must be attentive to the risks of resource guarding.
If a resource causes tension between several dogs, the team may request its removal.
It is forbidden to give a treat to another dog without the consent of its owner.
9. Human food
Human food (meals, picnics, grocery bags, etc.) is prohibited throughout the park.
10. Children and visitors
Outside of private sessions, children under 15 are not permitted in the park.
During private sessions, minors may be present under the exclusive responsibility of their accompanying adult.
Visitors must maintain a calm and respectful attitude towards the dogs, other users, and the Seconde Patte team.

Any unauthorized use may lead to the intervention of the team as well as the exclusion of the dog and its owner, without reimbursement of the service.
13. Cigarettes, alcohol and prohibited substances
