Daycare terms and rates
To join our dog daycare, dogs must:
- be vaccinated
- be identified
- be insured
- be in good health
- be up to date with their antiparasitic treatments
Regarding behavior:
- comfortable with humans (except for educational follow-up with us)
- comfortable with other dogs
- dogs with vocalization issues are not accepted
- must have good intraspecific communication
- specific behaviors must be reported (destruction, escaping, etc.)
Before any service:
- the contract must be signed
- the daycare rules must be accepted
- The social assessment must be validated
Some situations can, however, be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. As every dog is unique, we take the time to assess the possibilities based on their profile and current boarding conditions. If your dog has any specific needs, please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss them.
A social assessment at the center is also required. Lasting 1 to 1.5 hours, it allows us to determine if the dog can safely join the daycare. If successful, it is included in the price of the first service. In case of incompatibility or if no service is booked, only the test is charged (€25), with the remainder being refunded if the test was carried out at least 21 days before the start of the service. A new test may be requested if any doubt remains, even after an initial experience. Once the test is completed, a trial day must be carried out to definitively confirm the dog's integration into the daycare services. PLEASE NOTE: Even a dog that has passed the social assessment may be found incompatible with the daycare following the trial day.
To follow your dog's stay, we regularly share live photos and videos on our social media (stories, daily content).
In order to remain fully available for the dogs, we cannot respond to requests for individual updates by phone, message, or email during their stay.
Daycare booking: how does it work?
The booking process consists of several steps, in order to ensure that every dog is properly welcomed.
1. Initial contact
By phone, email, or message, we will discuss your request and check availability.
2. Pre-booking
A deposit allows you to secure your spot for the desired period.
Without a deposit, your spot cannot be guaranteed.
3. Social test (mandatory)
The test should ideally be carried out as soon as possible.
It allows for the final confirmation of your dog's integration into the boarding facility.
4. Trial day
- Once the social assessment is complete, a trial day is required (rates are identical to a daycare day). During this trial, owners must be able to pick up their dog at the request of the Seconde Patte team
5. Booking confirmation
- If the social assessment and trial day are successful, the booking is confirmed subject to payment of the full service fee, which finalizes the service(s).
- If the assessment or trial day are not successful or if no service is booked: the service(s) are cancelled and the deposit is refunded (excluding the cost of the assessment, €25 incl. tax)
Important
- If the social assessment is carried out less than 14 days before the start of the stay and reveals an incompatibility, the service remains due in full and cannot be refunded. It is therefore essential to carry out the assessment well in advance to allow for a timely cancellation and a potential refund of the deposit.
- Spaces are limited: pre-bookings with a deposit are prioritized.
- During holiday periods (October 17 to November 2, 2026, December 19, 2026 to January 4, 2027, February 13 to March 1, 2027, April 10 to April 26, 2027, July 3 to September 3, 2027) and public holidays, a 10% surcharge on services is applied, except for regular daycare (> 3 daycare sessions/month).

One-day daycare
€30.00 incl. tax / day
Access is subject to a prior social assessment to ensure the well-being of all. It is possible to combine this service with a transport package.

- Social interactions supervised by canine behavior specialists
- 1 hour of a different activity each day
- 20% discount for each additional dog (from the same household)

We pick up your dog directly from your home before their stay begins and bring them back once the stay is over.
